Cancellation and refunds

How to cancel, what comes back, and the statutory form you are welcome to ignore. Cancelling takes two clicks from your billing page and needs no explanation.

01This is a digital service. Nothing is shipped and nothing is returned

Curetime is delivered over the internet the moment you subscribe. There is nothing to post, nothing to deliver and nothing to send back, so there is no delivery policy, no shipping charge and no returns process — those exist for physical goods and none of this is one.

What there is instead is a cancellation right, a refund policy and a way out that takes two clicks. All three are below.

02Cancelling at any time

Sign in, open your billing page and cancel. It takes two clicks, you do not have to give a reason, and you never have to telephone or email anybody to do it.

Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and stops. Nothing renews after that. You keep your account and can go back to the free plan.

03Your 14-day statutory right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel and get your money back.

Because this is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, that right can end early — but only if both of these happened at checkout, separately:

  • you expressly asked us to start supplying the service straight away, rather than waiting for the 14 days to pass; and
  • you acknowledged that by doing so you would lose the right to cancel.

Those are two distinct consents and the checkout asks for them in two separate boxes, neither of which is ticked for you. The server checks both again before anything is charged, and the order confirmation email repeats back exactly what you agreed to, so you have a record of it.

If both boxes were not ticked, the 14-day right survives in full and you can cancel for a refund. If we did not give you the required information at all, the period is extended to 12 months and 14 days.

04The 14 days after every renewal

Separately from the statutory right above, and going beyond it, you have a further 14 days to cancel after each renewal, running from the renewal date. This is one of the requirements of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, which we are applying ahead of the date it comes into force. Cancel in that window and we refund the renewal in full.

05Refunds
  • Cancelling in a period where the statutory 14-day right still applies: a full refund, less a proportionate amount for what you used if you asked us to start straight away.
  • Cancelling within 14 days of a renewal: a full refund of that renewal.
  • Cancelling at any other time: your plan runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. We do not refund part-months as a matter of course, but if something has gone wrong, write to us.
  • If the service was not as described or was not provided with reasonable care and skill: your statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, and nothing here limits them.

Refunds go back to the card that was charged, within 14 days of us accepting the cancellation and usually much sooner.

06How to tell us

The billing page is the quickest route. You can also simply write to support@bakermartin.shop or call +44 7972840596 and say you want to cancel. Any clear statement will do.

You may use the model form below if you prefer, but you do not have to, and using it gets you nothing extra.

07If we get it wrong

Tell us and we will put it right. If we cannot resolve it between us, a claim for a smaller sum can be raised through the Sheriff Court Simple Procedure, which handles claims up to £5,000, and free independent advice is available from Advice Direct Scotland. The routes are set out in full in the terms of use.
