Cookies
Every cookie this site sets, what each one is for, and how to refuse the optional ones — of which there are currently none.

- 01The short version
One cookie keeps you signed in. One small entry in your browser’s local storage remembers what you chose about this. That is the lot at the moment: there is no analytics on this site, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.
The banner still asks, because the answer is recorded and honoured if that ever changes.
- 02Strictly necessary
Session cookie
Set when you sign in, so the next page knows it is you. Without it an account cannot work at all, which is why it is set whether or not you accept anything else — the regulations exempt a cookie that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. It is removed when you sign out and expires on its own after a period of inactivity.
Your cookie choice
Stored in your browser, not sent to us, so that the banner does not ask again on every page. Clearing your browser data clears it and the banner returns.
- 03Optional
None are in use today. If we ever add measurement, it will be listed here before it is switched on, it will only run for people who accepted, and declining will remain exactly as easy as accepting.
There is no advertising cookie on this site and there will not be one.
- 04Changing your mind
Clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser — everything except staying signed in will continue to work, because the reading itself needs no account.
